Even more rains is expected from Severe Tropical Storm Odette (International name, Khanun) while it slowly moves to the West Philippine Sea, bringing occasional rainfalls over Luzon, including Metro Manila, before it goes out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
In a bulletin issued 5 pm today, PAGASA said that STS Odette maintains maximum winds of 105 kilometer per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 130 kilometer per hour and moves northwest at 10 kilometer per hour toward PAR exit.
The 5 pm update also disclosed that PAGASA lifted all tropical cyclone warning signals already (TCWS)
The water level within the Pasig-Marikina river basin, on the other hand, remains normal as light to moderate rain is expected overnight
People living near mountain slopes and low-lying areas are advised to be alert for possible landslides, flash floods, and river flooding.
