Singles “Lutang” and “Pariwara” are attestations that indeed the new partnership is a great symphony due to its witty lines, and insightful, personal lyrics – impactful for the listeners.

Being one of the top bands today, Itchyworms said that they really owe it to Buendia’s old outfit, [Eraserheads] who became a major influence in their career when they were starting out.

Now both the aforementioned singles, appearing back-to-back on the limited edition 7-inch single released on white vinyl and pressed on Japan, confirm how that history harmonized beautifully.

The record also comes in a handsome looking two-color jacket with its nifty cover of the performers, first offered during the first Record Store Day celebration in the Philippines as a pre-order.

“Nag-collaborate kami last year for a song pero nabitin kami so gumawa pa kami ng isang bagong kanta,” Itchyworms vocalist Jugs Jugueta shared in an interview.

Also making the collaboration possible is independent record label OffShore Music. And as its vision ‘believes in the musician, the music, and taking it to the next level,’ it continues to challenge the music industry and the Filipino audience to its pop sensibilities.

The Buendia-Itchyworms collab shocked the industry last year by debuting “Pariwara;” as “Lutang” made its presence felt this year.
